To me, eggs might be the top vehicle for serve up any type of hearty meal, and this past weekend, I made a plan to turn on my family to a dish known as Egg Foo Yung. It is a must try. Think it as a Chinese omelet, stuffed with all sorts of kindness, and served with amazing beef gravy. My family completely fell in love with this and was hunger it the next day.
Chicken Egg FOO Young Recipe
Here is how I ready the dish. I got six good sized individual pieces of egg foo young out of the recipe.
Ingredients of Chicken Egg foo Young:-
- Nine large eggs
- 2 cups cooked chicken and 1 cup onion
- One tablespoon garlic powder
- Two tablespoon soy sauce
Note: You can add any other things like bean sprouts or mushrooms etc,. As if you like them
In a big bowl combine your ingredients and mix as well.
Coat the bottom of the frying pan with the nonstick cooking spray.Now started out using a large skillet. All started running mutually and individual omelets that looked nice so we switched to single piece of egg pan.
Place 3/4 to 1 cup of egg mixture into the pan.
Cook over average flame. When you see the eggs are firming up rotate it over with a spatula. Let cook until that part of the omelet is golden and firm.
Continue cooking your individual omelets either one at a time in a little pan like I did, or a couple at a time in a bigger pan if you went that route.

Shrimp Egg Foo Young Recipe
Egg Foo Young is a really simple means to turn a surplus of eggs into a nice meal, and it has the benefit of being a huge way to use up excess vegetables or leftover protein. The basic recipe can be modified with whatever you have on hand, so use this as a common guideline and add or subtract to your own taste. The standard American restaurant side of this dish is a fried egg pancake that either has meat and vegetables mixed in or served on the peak of the egg. The sauce is a brown sauce that is relatively mild in flavor. For this version, I merge the vegetables and the seafood right into the beaten egg. Note that I don’t usually decorate the dish with extra shrimp, but because this is a fairly homely food I did so to make it more visually attractive for the photos.
Prepare time: 30 mins
Two teaspoons toasted sesame oil
1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
2 cups chopped, cooked shrimp
1 cup chicken stock
One tablespoon arrowroot
Six large eggs
Two tablespoons dry sherry (optional)
1/4 teaspoon ground white pepper
One tablespoon coconut aminos (or salt, to taste)
2 cups finely chopped, assorted vegetables, such as carrot, celery, and mushrooms
Four green onions, trimmed and chopped
One clove garlic, finely minced
avocado or coconut oil, to fry the egg pancakes
To make the sauce, pour the chicken stock into a little saucepan. Whisk in the toasted sesame oil, 1/4 teaspoon ground white infuse, dry sherry, and arrowroot powder. Heat the mix over medium-high heat, occasionally inspiring, until it has thickened. take away from heat and set aside.
In a medium mixing bowl beat together the eggs, white sprinkle, garlic, and coconut aminos. Stir is the chopped with vegetables, half of green onions, and the half shrimp.
Put enough avocado oil in the skillet to the complete coat in the pan. Heat over middle-high heat. When the oil is burning, spoon in a third of a cup of the egg combination and let it brown well on one side. Flip carefully and the brown another side. Remove the cooked pancake to a cover and repeat until you have cooked all of the Shrimp Egg Foo Young.
To serve and place two of the pancakes on the plate and spoon on some of the sauce. Garnish by reserved green onions and serve Enjoy!.
